Website screenshots.
I have been completing my website on a chrome browser, and realised that it’s very distorted on any other browsers/platforms. Therefore, i have taken screenshots of my website to show its desired aesthetic.

Blog update - designing my own cover photos
I have been designing and editing some of my own images to act as thumbnails for other trailers that I have supposedly made.
I have further editing to do, including incorporating a stronger sense of brand identity, including further use of the pink and orange colour scheme.
The first image will be related to an ivy interviews episode whereby she explores the increasing saturation of the music industry and how its becoming increasingly difficult for young people to break into the music industry - accompanied by an interview with a character called Asa
The second is comprised of two images that I took last Summer when I went to Barcelona - the title will be related to ivy interviews investigating rising homelessness cases in Spanish teenagers.
I used Pixlr on my phone to edit these photos. It is a good mobile alternative to photoshop.

Blog progress
Pictured above are some of my before and edited photos which I edited a while ago on my phone.
I still have yet to put the introductory piece under the ‘Ivy Interviews’ Masthead, so there is a gap between this and the images of the cast, but I will add this in promptly.

Latest news: TikTok
I was considering using TikTok as an example of an upcoming app that contains some causes for concern in terms of whether or not the videos are appropriate. It has recently come to my attention that TikTok is being banned in the US, which is something that I may choose to touch on- I could use it as an example of an app that as a result of ‘security concerns’ (as said by Mike Pompeo). I think i interesting that an app has sparked so many concerns that the US president (who is known for some extreme right wing activity) has taken such extreme action to ban it. One of the reasons why this is interesting is bevause the vast and growing popularity concerned with the app. The removal of this app, in my eyes, is a fantastic event as the harmful content that can be easily viewed on the app does not match the type of content that a demographic of young children would typically watch. I think the younger generation needs to be protected from harm.
